The Eight Best Books I Read Last Year

In No Particular Order

Individualism And Collectivism by Harry Triandis

12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos by Jordan Peterson

Nietzsche: 'On the Genealogy of Morality' and Other Writings by Neitzsche

Coming Apart: The State of White America 1960-2010 by Charles Murray

The War Against Boys by Christina Sommers

A People That Shall Dwell Alone: Judaism as a Group Evolutionary Strategy by Kevin MacDonald
*I highly recommend this book for people who were raised by religious parents and want to understand that religion from an evolutionary/rational perspective, or people who are trigged or confused by religion in general. In this book Judaism is used as a case study, but what it teaches applies to all religions.

The Myth of Male Power by Warren Farrell

Pricing the Priceless Child: The Changing Social Value of Children by Viviana  Zelizer

Scandinavian Humor and Other Myths by John Anderson
*I am not sure this book would be funny to non-Scandinavians. I had no idea how Scandinavian I was until I read this book -- hilarious.
